Mouna Sepehri

Biography
Mrs. Sepehri is EVP, Renault CEO office.
She was Managing-Director of the Renault-Nissan Alliance responsible for the office of the CEO, Secretary of the Renault-Nissan Alliance Board and member of the Daimler – Alliance Cooperation Committee. In this context, she notably pilots synergies, strategic cooperations as well as business projects. She reported directly to Carlos Ghosn, Chairman and CEO, Renault-Nissan Alliance.
Mrs. Sepehri started her career in 1990 as an attorney based first in Paris and then in New York, specialized in mergers and acquisitions and in corporate international law.
She joined Renault in 1996 as Deputy General Counsel of the Group. In that function, she was associated with the international growth of the Group including the formation of the Renault-Nissan Alliance in 1999, in which she took part from the very beginning, being a member of the negotiating team. She left the legal department in 2007 to join the Office of the CEO to take over responsibility for the management of the Cross Functional Teams (CFTs). CFTs are dedicated to creating synergies and maximizing the performance of the two partners of the Alliance. They induced crucial performance optimization as well as key organizational changes in both companies.
In 2009, she was appointed Director of the Alliance CEO Office, notably in charge of the global coordination and monitoring of the teams dedicated to fostering the development of the Alliance. In addition, she pilots some flagship projects, such as the launching of an Ultra Low Cost Vehicle in India. The Alliance synergies have represented a gain of 1,5Bn€ in 2009 and will contribute to another 1,Bn€ new synergies in 2010.
A French national, Mrs. Sepehri was born in Iran. She attended the Paris School of Law and graduated with a Master of Law and subsequently was admitted to the Paris Bar. She has two children and resides in Paris, France. Rich of this multi-cultural background, Mrs. Sepehri has always strived to promote and advocate the values of diversity, and particularly the role of women in corporate organization. For her, the Alliance’s way of doing business echoes all the values she stands for: trying to use what is good for business in order to promote also what is right for society.
Mrs. Sepehri manages a multi-cultural team located in Yokohama, Paris and Amsterdam. She speaks French, English and Farsi.
