Hidetoshi Imazu

Biography
Born in May 1949, Hidetoshi Imazu graduated from the faculty of Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology in March 1972.
He joined Nissan Motor one month later in April 1972 and became Deputy General Manager of the Production Engineering Department No. 3 and Senior Manager at the Simultaneous Engineering Center in July 1997.
In April 1998, Hidetoshi Imazu became General Manager of the Body Assembly Engineering Department before being transferred to Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Limited in July 1999. He was appointed Senior Vice President in charge of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Div., SCM (Supply Chain Management) Div. for Yokohama Plant, Oppama Plant, Tochigi Plant, Kyushu Plant and Iwaki Plant in April 2002.
Precisely one year after in April 2003, he became Senior Vice President in charge of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Div. for Yokohama Plant, Oppama Plant, Tochigi Plant, Kyushu Plant and Iwaki Plant.
In April 2005, Hidetoshi Imazu was Senior Vice President in charge of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Div. and Cost Reduction Promotion Office for Yokohama Plant, Oppama Plant, Tochigi Plant, Kyushu Plant and Iwaki Plant, and at the Overseas Parts Logistics Control Department until April 2006 when he became Senior Vice President in charge of Vehicle Production at the Engineering Div.
In April 2007, he was appointed Executive Vice President supervising European Operations, Manufacturing and SCM, and became a Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Vice President in June 2007.
Since February 2009, Hidetoshi Imazu is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Vice President supervising Manufacturing and SCM.
