The Renault-Nissan Alliance announced that its Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn would deliver a center stage interview at Web Summit 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Marking the Alliance’s first participation in the event, Ghosn will address the “Roadblocks to autonomous driving” session, November 8 at 10:40 a.m. The conversation will be moderated by Arjun Kharpal, technology reporter for CNBC.
Ghosn will also take part in the Auto-Tech panel, “Driving a connected future”, on November 8 at 11:25 am. He will be joined on stage by Nicolas Brusson, Co-Founder & CEO, BlaBlaCar and Jose Viegas, Secretary-General, International Transportation Forum. The session will be moderated by David Barroux, editor in chief at Les Echos.
During these conversations, Ghosn will provide insights on how a new era in which three forces – electrification, autonomous drive and connectivity – are changing the automobile industry and creating tremendous opportunities. He will also discuss how the Alliance is exploring new business models, being both agile and open-minded as it keeps pace with rapidly changing technology.print Tweet
