Nissan helps drivers "fill up" on free electricity with expansion of Germany's largest quick-charge network

Nissan announces today the expansion of its electric vehicle charging network in Germany, making it the largest quick-charge network in the country. In cooperation with Nissan dealerships, energy companies and municipalities, Nissan already operates more than 60 quick-charge stations at which drivers can charge their electric vehicles for free.

Nissan recognized for sustainable leadership by the CDP Climate Change Report for the third straight year

For the third consecutive year, the CDP (formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project) has included Nissan in a select list of companies receiving top-tier “A-List” ranking in its annual Climate Change Report. Nissan finished ahead of thousands of other international businesses in the CDP’s assessment.

One-two success for the Renault ZOE in the 2016 e-Rallye Monte-Carlo’s electric vehicle classification
Following back-to-back victories on the Rallye Monte-Carlo ZENN (Zero Emissions, No Noise) organised by the ACM (Automobile Club de Monaco) in 2014 and 2015, Renault decided to defend its record on this unique event this time around.  For 2016, the competition was renamed the e-Rallye Monte-Carlo and featured classes for all types of energy (all-electric, hybrid, fuel cell, etc.), with the exception of 100-percent fossil fuels.

Renault e.dams win Hong Kong ePrix
Renault e.dams opened season three of the FIA Formula E Championship in emphatic fashion with Sébastien Buemi taking his seventh career Formula E win and Nico Prost working his way back through the field to finish fourth in the HKT Hong Kong ePrix.
The team leaves Hong Kong with 37 points in the Team Championship, ahead of ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport and Andretti Formula E who both have 18 points.

Nissan e-NV200 has won the German Commercial Vehicle Award for 2016. The compact van, which combines the large cargo capacity and versatility of the NV200 with the acceleration performance and quietness of an electric vehicle, has won the first award to be given in a special category of "Electrically Driven Urban Delivery Vehicle."
