Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has announced the start of field tests for the 100% electric e-NV200 compact van in Saitama City (Saitama Prefecture).

Nissan Motor Co.,Ltd. today announced that the replacement for the current Nissan Micra compact car will be manufactured at a Renault plant in Europe. Due to start production in 2016, the vehicle will be exported across Europe’s left-hand drive markets.

The Renault Flins plant, located near Paris, France, was selected by Renault to produce the next-generation Nissan Micra. Production will begin in 2016 at an estimated annual volume of 82,000 vehicles.

SimCity, the city-building computer game, has just become even more realistic. The latest version of the best-selling game – SimCity 2013 – has gone green. Working in collaboration with Nissan, the game has added a Nissan LEAF charging station to its list of in-game add-ons.
