Renault-Nissan Alliance gearing up for Energy for Tomorrow conference

The Renault-Nissan Alliance will have a key presence at the New York Times Energy for Tomorrow conference in Paris on 3-4 November, with Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn set to share his vision for the car of the future. 

The two-day event brings together influential leaders, thinkers and policy makers from all over the world to discuss the practicalities and challenges of preparing a carbon-free future.

Held at Le Pré Catelan in the Bois de Boulogne, one of Paris's largest green spaces, the conference is an important opportunity for world leaders to act on the 2015 Paris agreement on climate change.

Around 300 people, including  industry experts, CEOs, politicians and journalists, are expected to attend the event. As the global leaders in electric mobility, the Alliance will be providing a fleet of 10 Renault ZOE and 10 Nissan LEAF electric vehicles to transport officials around the site and offer test drives to attendees.

Carlos Ghosn will speak on the first day (3 November at 10.10 am) in a session entitled "Green Light".

The next few years will be a crucial period for the industry, as it balances sustainability with new technologies. Renault-Nissan is well-positioned to lead the way thanks to its strategy to offer mass market electric vehicles. Autonomous driving technologies and connected mobility solutions at affordable prices.
